Your Sea Cottage accommodation nestles on the shore between forest, and ocean in a temperate rainforest. It is steps from an outstanding cobble beach, lapping waves and fascinating sights of wildlife and recreational boats and commercial ships. And this serene destination is only a one-hour scenic ferry journey from Horseshoe Bay, near Vancouver, on the west coast of British Columbia, in Canada, and a brief excursion away from the glorious Sunshine Coast.

Sea Cottage, Comfortable and Cosy
The fully furnished three bedroom cottage is suitable for three to four people. Bring your favourite foods to prepare in the well-appointed kitchen or on the barbecue.
On your arrival, by arrangement, we pick up your luggage and groceries at the New Brighton wharf on Gambier Island.

No pets and no smoking as some of our guests have allergies.
There is no television reception, laundry facility, or telephone. If you wish, however, bring a cell phone.
Additional items to bring are flashlights and beach towels.
As there is no garbage collection on Gambier Island, we ask that you take your garbage with you on departure.
Availability
We are open from Victoria Day weekend through to Labour Day weekend. Other times by request.
2008 Rates
Reservations are on a first paid basis. A 50% deposit guarantees your reservation. Check in and check out times negotiated at the time of your confirmed reservation.
Final payment is due two weeks before your rental date during shoulder seasons and four weeks before your July or August rental date.
During shoulder seasons, cancellation within one week of your rental date forfeits your deposit. For July, August and long weekends, cancellation within two weeks of your rental date forfeits your deposit.

To Get to Sea Cottage
Usually our guests prefer to travel as foot passengers to avoid car line-ups at the Horshoe Bay ferry terminal and to make the connection from the car ferry to the foot passenger only water taxi at Langdale.
So, north of Vancouver, take the car ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale on the Sunshine Coast. Then board the foot passenger water taxi from Langdale to New Brighton on Gambier Island.
Although Sea Cottage is a brief ten-minute walk from the New Brighton wharf, we will meet you to transport your goods and guide you to Sea Cottage.
